ROOM CUTOUTS

A "Room Cutout" is used to represent the shape of a room when arranging rooms for a preliminary floor plan.

• Draw each room separately using basic drafting tools, CAD software or a draw program
• Draw each room at a scale of 1/4"=1'-0".
• Use a thick line to outline the room
• Color-code each room according to the four areas of the commercial structure:
  (Storage - GREEN, Public - BLUE, Mechanical - GOLD and Private - RED)
• Add the name of the room
• Add the dimensions of the room ( L x W)
• Add the area of the room (Sq. Ft.)
• Add your initials
