ATDA Sample Layout Sketch

SAMPLE LAYOUT SKETCH

DIRECTIONS: Prepare a "Layout Sketch" for each different room on your "Design Analysis".

Be sure to include all furnishings and built-in cabinets or equipment.
Add lines to indicate walls but DO NOT show windows or doors.
Try to make the length and width of the room even units.
Label all furnishings and indicate the square footage of the room.
If you have multiple rooms with the same layout, just indicate the quantity below the sq. ft..
Sketch all rooms to the same proportions: one square to the foot or one square to two feet.
Put all of the rooms in a packet with a cover for grading.
