Technology is how people modify the natural world to suit their own purposes. The Technology Education Department will foster creative thinking and provide students with the skills to communicate effectively, to challenge conventions, as well as to develop and improve strategies for life-long exploration and problem solving.

The Tech Ed core will meet this mission by:

• aligning curriculum between the program teams to provide a cohesive experience for student learning.
• remaining on the cutting-edge of contemporary technology.
• reinforcing student’s existing knowledge base with the Tech Ed curriculum.
• developing project based assignments and assessments.
• exploring and preparing students for potential career opportunities
